By 2001, after immigrating to the United States in Annandale, Paul became more serious about playing drums, and continued taking music classes as well as beginning to perform at different churches, schools, and rock venues. In 2008 Paul was awarded scholarship to attend Berklee College of Music and graduated with a Bachelor's Degree in 2012.
